Cardi B is firing back at a prank call that went too far, threatening to make ex-husband Offset beat up the person responsible for calling Child Protective Services on her family.

In her Instagram live video, an angry Cardi B made it clear that she took the prank very seriously. “I can’t even breathe right now, you moms went too far when you messed with my damn kids.”

The Grammy Award-winning rapper said her children were fast asleep at 11pm when CPS arrived at her home because they believed her children were being “abused and beaten.” She and Offset share children Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and their newborn on September 7.
The “Bodak Yellow” singer shared her reaction as she lay comfortably in her hospital bed, saying she had been sick for the past week. “We don’t play that game. My children live very well. My children have never been touched, never beaten no matter how upset they are,” she said, adding, “I have never beat your children.”
Although these prank callers have ordered food to artists’ homes many times, she noted that she found it funny, although this time it definitely went too far. “We were the only people of color in my neighborhood,” the 32-year-old noted.
The prank call comes on the heels of Cardi B’s public divorce from Offset, which was announced the same day she revealed she was pregnant with their third child.
The artist has now vowed to sue the prank caller, and has hired “the best private investigator in the country” to find them. “If you were a boy, my father would beat you up. If you were a woman, Hennessy and I would beat you up.”
