Caroline Stanbury was born in London, England, on April 28, 1976, to Anthony Stanbury, a venture capitalist and former CEO of the fashion brand Jaeger, and Elizabeth Stanbury.
Elizabeth owns a knitting business. Victoria, Edward and Alexander are her three siblings. She graduated from Westonbirt School in Gloucestershire and later became a pattern maker.
