She is known as one of the most popular eTV news hosts of all time.
She began her career as a copywriter for online businesses and a radio host for her college station.
Popular South African radio station Radio 702 signed her up after her first year. She currently works for Newzroom Afrika.

Early life
Cathy Mohlahlana was born on January 7 in the late 1980s in Gauteng, South Africa.
She moved to Polokwane when she was six years old to attend boarding school.
She had a gift for public speaking from a young age and was actively involved in the debate club in middle school.

Career
Cathy Mohlahlana started her career as a copywriter at University. She also worked for her University station and her talent did not go unnoticed. After the first year, Radio 702 gave her a full-time job. She was invited to be a reporter and radio host for the station. At the same time she worked for Kaya FM for a short time.
She then received a position at eNews Channel Africa (eNCA). She worked there until March 2019. There were rumors that she left the channel due to problems with the station. She resigned along with Thulasizwe Simelane on 29 March 2019.
She currently works for Newsroom Afrika which airs on DStv channel 405 and hosts the Editor’s Choice program every Sunday morning. She hosts the daily show Newz@Prime which airs from 6pm to 9pm.
