Early life
Chacha Eke was born and raised in the capital of Ebonyi state, also known as Abakaliki.
She was born on May 1, 1993.
She grew up in a middle-class family then moved to Enugu state and later to Asaba, the capital of Delta state.
Her father, Professor John Eke, is a prominent politician, speaker and former Commissioner for Education of Ebonyi State handpicked by the then Governor David Nweze Umahi.
Chacha Eke has an older sister named Peace Eke.
Education
Chacha Eke’s educational background began when she attended Esut Nursery and Primary School in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
She completed her secondary and high school education at a missionary school called Our Lord Shepard International School, located in Enugu, Southeastern Nigeria.
After obtaining the required West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), she was admitted to Ebonyi State University (EBSU).
She successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting degree.
Career
Chacha Eke started acting as a teenager. She worked in local events and at the same time attended to her studies.
She landed her first official role in a film after successfully auditioning at a talent show held in her hometown of Abakaliki.
She then participated in other talent shows and was cast in her first film in 2009.
In 2012, Chacha Eke acted in a popular drama titled The End Is Near, which catapulted her to fame among fans and the film industry.
The film also stars other famous actors such as Patience Ozokwor, Chika Ike, Yul Edochie and many others. She has successfully acted in over 200 films and the number is still increasing.
Chacha Eke is also the CEO and founder of Print-Afrique Fashion Limited, a company specializing in the fashion industry.
