He then set the Guinness World Record for Longest Cooking by cooking for about 25 hours and completing more than 617 dishes. He is the only chef with a doctorate. in the food and beverage industry.
Cook With Dhamu, a show on Jaya TV, was his first television show. He finally made his debut in Kollywood with the film Kallapadam, and later he had a small role in Ulkuthu.
In season 1-3 of Cooku With Comaali, he appeared as one of the judges along with Venkatesh Bhat. This show was a huge success.
