Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu was born and raised in Arochukwu to African parents.

On June 25, 2021, the media space was plunged into sadness when there was a murder of the CEO of Super TV, Michael Usifo Ataga. The murder was traced to a 300 level student of UNILAG named Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu.

She was paraded by the Nigerian police for the murder case which she confessed to. According to media reports, Chidinma went to a hotel with the deceased, who happened to be her ‘Sugar Daddy’ to have a good time together, sadly, the worst happened.
According to the interview, Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu claimed that Michael Usifo Ataga forced her against her will, leading to rape, hence the murder occurred in self-defense according to her testimony.
Since the incident, several propagandas have been put out without any substantial evidence or can be said to be evidence. One of the propagandas said that Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu killed the deceased with the assistance of Michael Usifo Ataga’s wife, Brenda Ataga due to a disagreement. It also said that Chidinma’s uncle was involved in the case because he had a relationship with Ataga’s wife.
To complicate the case further on the ground, Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu also used the deceased’s ATM to withdraw a sum of 380,000 Nigerian Naira. The money was recovered from her and the card was blocked to prevent further withdrawals. This in turn opened up another propaganda campaign claiming that this was a robbery.
As the case is still under investigation, we are all waiting for the official statement from the Police on the case as Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu has pleaded guilty to the murder of Mr Michael Usifo Ataga.
