Early life
Chiege Alisigwe was born in Orlu, Orlu local government of Imo state.
She is the youngest of eleven children.
She was born and raised in the ancient town of Orlu. She was able to complete her primary and secondary education in Enugu.
As a young girl, Chiege Alisigwe was very agile, which enabled her to participate in many sporting activities, especially running.
