Despite receiving widespread attention, it has recently emerged that this viral story is fake.

The woman pictured has come forward to clarify what happened at Brown’s concert.

She firmly stated that she would clarify the situation, emphasizing that she had attended many of the “Under the Influence” singer’s concerts over the past ten years, during which time they had built a strong relationship.

“What I don’t accept is strangers online using my face and exploiting my disability to get likes and clicks while spreading misinformation.”

In her statement, the woman stressed that although Brown “has occasionally upgraded my seat or given me free tickets,” she has always paid for her own expenses.

“I support [Brown] as a brand and as an individual, so if you see me at a show or a meet-and-greet, know that I paid for a ticket. I paid to be there.”

She also criticized those who initiated the discussion for promoting the view that people with disabilities are unemployable and struggle to participate effectively in society.

“This move takes away all the personal effort I put in to achieve this result,” she confidently asserted.

“It takes away from my work time. It takes away from the things I’ve sacrificed to work overtime because I want to reward myself.”
