On its official Instagram page, Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA shared the news, confirming that Nodal received the award during a gala at Harvard University on Monday, October 28. This important event provided Nodal with a platform to speak about his career and the importance of representing a positive Mexican Identity on the global stage.
With this award, Nodal joins previous honorees such as Grupo Frontera, who received the award in 2023, in highlighting the ongoing cultural impact of Mexican artists in the United States.
A Year of Success
Since his breakout single “Adiós Amor” in 2017, Nodal’s career has been marked by an impressive series of hits and awards, including a Latin Grammy. His popularity has established him as a leading voice in regional Mexican music, winning the hearts of audiences worldwide.
This year, his career reached new heights as fans turned out in huge numbers to attend his shows and filled up the venues for his ‘Pal Cora Tour’. Their loyalty serves as a reminder of the strong bond he shares with his audience, cementing his place as a beloved figure in the Mexican music scene.
He also recently married fellow musician Angela Aguilar, a powerhouse in her own right and a member of one of Mexico’s most legendary musical families: The Aguilar.
Last weekend, during a break from his own tour, Nodal attended the first Aguilar (Ángela, Pepe Aguilar and Leonardo Aguilar) show in Bogotá. He took the stage for a duet with his wife, their 2020 collaboration ‘Dime Cómo Quieres Que Te Quiera.’
