She became famous in this country through appearing on television in various roles.
She is best known for her role in the television series Binnelanders.
She was cast as Annelise Roux in the popular kykNET series titled Binnelanders.
During the fourth season, Cindy Swanepoel also appeared in the 2015 television series Getroud Met Rugby, playing Buula Botha, Boep’s rebellious younger sister.

Cindy Swanepoel’s professional acting career began with her first appearance in Circles in a Forest, a stage play produced by Artscape and directed by Marinda Engelbrecht.
She reprised the play in 2004 at the Klein Karoo National Arts Festival. She then won a performance spot at the KKNK festival the following year.
She moved to Johannesburg, South Africa the following year, in 2005. She then got her first television acting job in the series, Egoli: Place of Gold. She played the role of July in the show.
She made her stage debut in the play Houtkruis in 2008. Elzette Maarschalk directed the play. She appeared in another stage project called Stephen van Niekerk in 2011.
She was eventually cast in Alby Michaels’ play The Crucible. She has also appeared in shows including The Mating Game, Skeletons in the Closet and 90 Plein Street on television.
Cindy Swanepoel has also starred in several popular South African television series, including 7th Avenue, Generations and Villa Rosa.
Cindy Swanepoel also appeared in comedy shows like Pros Street and Laugh Out Loud. She later landed a role on the kykNET series, Sterlopers.
She played Chrystal in the film Getroud Met Rugby. Cindy also appeared in Nation’s Garage, Ballad for a Single and The Street’s Bull.
Cindy Swanepoel founded Pôkô Events and Productions with the help of two partners. The company is a film production company specializing in children’s theater performances.
Curl Up and Dye, a 2013 film in which she starred, was her second leading role. Sue Pam-Grant, a renowned multidisciplinary artist, directed the film. Cindy Swanepoel was cast as Annelise Roux in Binnelanders, a popular television series.
