Early life
Award-winning comedian, Emmanuella Samuel was born on July 22, 2010 to indigenes of Imo State; James Samuel and Cynthia Samuel. Her parents hail from the South-South region, specifically Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
It didn’t take long for this toddler to show off her extraordinary personality, appearing in a short comedy clip when she was just five years old.

Due to her public status and her age at the time, there were doubts about how the public would react to her first appearance in front of the camera. However, Emmanuella silenced the doubters soon after appearing in a comedy video by Mark Angel titled My Real Face. Her parents were also supportive and pushed their little girl from status to status, eventually propelling her to stardom quite early on.

Career
Emmanuella’s early success was no accident. Her comedy career began during a family vacation where she met Mark Angel; an up-and-coming comedian at the time.
Mark Angel, who needed children to play a role in the next episode of his comedy series, gave a group of children some tests. However, all of them failed the test because they could not remember the scripts given to them. However, Emmanuella was an exception, she remembered her role and begged Mark to convince her parents to let her join his comedy group.
She debuted in 2015 in the infamous Who Mess scene and rose to fame with an episode called This is Not My Real Face Oh. The short clip quickly went viral on social media and went viral across the country. Emmanuella went on to star in several episodes alongside Mark Angel in his comedy skits.
In 2018, Emanuella received an honorary invitation from Bukola Saraki to Parliament after she won a role in a Disney film. She was also a CNN host in 2016 and has also appeared in several interviews since her debut.
The child comedian is also one of the most influential teenagers in Nigeria with a huge following on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Emmanuella has over 600,000 followers on the gram and over 5,000,000 followers on her Facebook page.

Emmanuella currently lives with her family in Port Harcourt and hangs out with both her on-set and off-set friends. Opinions on her relationship with Mark Angel are somewhat divided; many believe she is his niece while others say they are cousins.
A few months ago in 2021, Emmanuella took to Instagram to announce the completion of the house she was building for her parents, an act that earned her the respect of many and made her a household name in 2020. She also posted a photo of herself on a passenger plane as well as other photos of her time with friends and family.
Emmanuella is still a child, she doesn’t have a boyfriend, partner or future husband yet.
