Early life
Award-winning comedian, Emmanuella Samuel was born to parents who are natives of Imo state; James Samuel and Cynthia Samuel, on July 22, 2010. Her parents reside in the South-South region, specifically Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
The toddler wasted no time introducing her extraordinary character, appearing in a short comedy clip at just 5 years old.

Due to her position in the community and her age at the time, there were many doubts about how the public would react when she first appeared in front of the cameras. However, Emmanuella quickly silenced the doubters after appearing in Mark Angel’s comedy video titled My Real Face. Her parents also supported and encouraged their little girl from one person to another, eventually leading her to stardom quite early.

Emmanuella’s early success was no coincidence. Her career as a comedian began during a vacation with family members, where she secretly met Mark Angel; a skitter was coming out at that time.
Mark Angel, who needed children to play roles in the next episode of the comedy series, put a group of children through several tests. However, all of them failed because they could not remember the assigned words. However, Emmanuella excels, remembering her role and begging Mark to convince her parents to let her join his comedy team.
She first appeared in 2015 in an infamous scene titled Who Mess, and rose to fame with an episode called This Is Not My Real Face Oh. The short video quickly resonated on social networks and received a huge circulation nationwide. Emmanuella went on to star in many episodes alongside Mark Angel in his comedy skits.
In 2018, Emanuella received an honorary invitation from Bukola Saraki to Congress after she landed a role in a Disney movie. She was also hosted by CNN in 2016 and has also appeared in several interviews since her debut.

Emmanuella currently lives with her family in Port Harcourt and hangs out with both on-set and real-life friends. Opinions about her relationship with Mark Angel are somewhat divided; many claim she is his niece while others say they are cousins.
A few months back in 2021, Emmanuella took to Instagram to announce the completion of the house she built for her parents. This gesture earned her the respect of many people and was mentioned a lot in 2020. She also posted a photo of herself on a transport plane as well as other photos of her time with friends and family.
