His father, Djanana Djuna, is the lead singer of the band Papa Wemba. He is the brother of Gims, a popular solo rapper and former member of the French rap group Sexion d’Assaut.
His other brothers Bedjik and Xgangs are also rappers.

From 2012 to 2016, Dadju was a member of the music group Shin Sekaí together with rapper Abou Tall.
