Dave Chappelle was born on August 14, 1973 into an intellectual family. He was born in Washington DC and his name is David Khari Webber Chappelle.
His parents are William David Chappelle III (father) and Yvonne Seon (mother). William David Chappelle III is a professor of vocal performance and works at Antioch College, Ohio. He is the Dean of Students at the school. He has an older brother and an older sister named William S. Chappelle and Felicia Chappelle Jones.
Yvonne Reed worked with the Congolese government as an assistant to former Prime Minister Patrice Lumumba. Yvonne Seon is also a professor and has worked with several universities, such as Wright State University and Prince George’s Community College.
Dave Chappelle’s parents divorced when he was young, and he began living with his mother. He often traveled down to Ohio to spend the summers with his father.
