Daniel “Dan” Stoffer was Jean Stoffer’s third child.

He is the owner of Stoffer Hospitality LLC. Dan previously worked at Monarch Investment and Management Group as a Real Estate Management Intern and at Eenhoorn LLC as a Mobility Manager, followed by an Operations Audit Manager role. Dan also lived in New York where he worked at the Front Desk at Soho House & Co.

Daniel graduated from Calvin College with a degree in Economics. He earned a certificate in Revenue Management and Finance from Cornell University.

John Stoffer completed his high school education at Oak Park River Forest High School. He then attended Calvin College in 2010, where he studied business and photography. Since 2010, he has worked at Jean Stoffer Design as a Marketing Director and Office Manager. He began his career as a Digital Technician, Photography Assistant at Kozak & Krysti.

Jean co-runs the business with her daughter, Grace Start. Jean started the business when she was 24 years old and has been working in interior design ever since. When Jean moved to Grand Rapids, she thought she would retire. Instead, she found her business took off and became a partnership with her daughter.

In December 2021, Grace Stoffer celebrated her 30th birthday. She was born in December 1991.

Grace Stoffer is a partner at Stoffer Home Design. She is the principal design partner of her mother. Grace Start joined the firm in 2016. Jean’s classicism and Grace’s fresh modern style create a unique and inviting style that is comfortable, timeless, and beautiful.

“Grace and I have very similar tastes and values,” Jean explains of her partnership with her daughter. “So we’re pulling in the same direction on projects. My expertise is kitchen design, space planning and making sure all the elements we choose are in the right proportions, and art selection. Grace is great at mixing finishes, colors, lighting mixes, and finding great furniture. We work really well together.”
