David Inyene-Obong Nugboyon Oluwaseun ‘Dario’ Hundeyin (born 6 May 1990) is a Nigerian investigative journalist, researcher, creative writer and activist. He is known professionally as David Hundeyin.

He is the Founder and editor-in-chief of West Africa Weekly, a media publication focusing on investigative journalism.

In 2022, David Hundeyin published investigative articles about the tech unicorn, Flutterwave, and Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling political party APC in Nigeria.

Early life

David Hundeyin was born into an illustrious Hundeyin family on May 6, 1990. He was born into the family of Mr. David Fakunle Hundeyin.

His father, David Fakunle Hundeyin, is from Badagry, Lagos State, while his mother is from Ikot-Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State. He was born in Akwa Ibom in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria.

David Hundeyin is an Alumnus of Atlantic Hall School in Lagos, attending the school from 2001 to 2003. He then attended Grange School and left the school in 2005. He completed his secondary education at Oxbridge Tutorial College, graduated in 2007.

David Hundeyin’s career began in the Communications and Public Relations industry. He started as an Intern at BHM Group Nigeria in 2014.
