Malcolm Washington was born on April 10, 1991, in Los Angeles, California to parents Denzel Washington and Pauletta Washington, both of whom are well-known Hollywood actors and have won many awards for their outstanding performances.
Malcolm has three siblings: John David, also an actor and former football player; Katia, an editorial production assistant who has worked on films such as Django Unchained, Fences and The Birth of a Nation; and Olivia, his twin sister, also an actress.
Growing up in a family of actors and theater personalities, Malcolm developed an interest in film and filmmaking at an early age. He attended Windward School in Los Angeles, where he excelled in basketball and played point guard.
