Early life
The Dexcute icon was born into the Southwest family of Mr. and Mrs. Abiola. He was born on February 14, 1994, at a public health center in Ibadan City, Oyo State. Eight days after Dexcute Icons was born, his parents held a naming ceremony to welcome him into the world. The ceremony was attended by the extended family and well-wishers of the Abiola family. The clergy presided over the naming ceremony and he was named Kolawole Idris Abiola.
Dexcute Icons has Yoruba ancestry on both father’s and mother’s sides. He is an indigene of Oyo State and grew up in Ibadan, the state capital. He comes from a close-knit Muslim family of five people. He has two siblings – Kehinde Abiola and Olaide Abiola. He was raised in the Muslim faith and attended an Islamic school during his childhood and teenage years.
Dexcute Icons is a popular student in high school because of his artistic talent. He was a prominent member of the Drama Club during his middle school days and was known for teasing his schoolmates with humorous jokes. He was also a member of the school’s football team and helped the team win many victories during his six years there.

Career
When Dexcute Icons was an undergraduate at the polytechnic, he further explored his interest in music. He started creating covers of popular songs and sharing them with his community of friends. Encouraged by the support he received, he spent more time honing his skills and doing more covers of trendy songs.
