According to unconfirmed reports, Sean “Diddy” Combs has been placed on suicide watch after being denied bail twice.
The decision was made as a precautionary measure due to concerns about Combs’ mental health during this time, People magazine reported.
Diddy was arrested on Monday and is now facing a slew of charges including conspiracy to commit extortion, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Despite his attorney’s efforts to secure bail, a Manhattan judge has refused to release the music industry figure for the second time this week.
Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo even offered $50 million in bail, but their offer was rejected.
The “I Need A Girl” hitmaker has maintained his innocence and has officially pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
On Wednesday, Agnifilo revealed that his client was being held in a specialized unit with enhanced security measures.
A judge decided to let the Bureau of Prisons make the final decision after Diddy’s team wanted to transfer him to another prison in New Jersey.

Diddy’s suicide watch comes after public relations expert Nathalie Moar, who worked with Diddy for more than two decades and helped him build a multimillion-dollar empire, decided to step down.
According to the Daily Mail, Moar “disappeared” and cut off contact by disconnecting his phone and deactivating his email address.
“This situation leaves her with no choice,” an insider told the outlet. “Diddy is her whole world. She’s going to be ousted over this if she hasn’t already been ousted.”
In the 1990s, the Bad Boy Records mogul personally handpicked the Australian public relations expert to join his inner circle, entrusting her with the task of transforming his public image from a rebellious rapper to a sophisticated businessman.
Along with showing his support, Moar was there to help defend Diddy against claims of mistreatment brought by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. The lawsuit the singer filed against Diddy in November was quickly settled out of court.
