Diddy’s mother and his twin daughters visited him for the first time since his arrest.

The visit so intrigued Diddy’s mother that it even caused her to stay silent about her son’s legal troubles.

Sources close to the family told TMZ that Janice Combs and his teenage twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, visited Diddy last week as he continued his time behind bars at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Sources told the newspaper that family members went to a visiting area where they could hug and chat. All this is done under the supervision of prison staff.

They went on to report that this was the first time D’Lila and Jessie were able to see their father since his arrest last month. The teens are said to have traveled from their home in California to meet their father.

Sources went on to say that the visit brought many emotions to everyone. It was so emotional that Diddy’s mother had to speak out on her son’s behalf after the visit.

“Witnessing to what looked like a public execution of my son before he had a chance to prove his innocence was painful beyond words,” Janice said in her statement.

She also went on to claim that Diddy “is not the monster they portrayed him to be.”

“He deserves the opportunity to tell his side. I can only pray that I live to see him speak his truth and be vindicated,” she continued.

In addition to the charges he already faced — including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitution — Diddy recently faced new charges from 120 new victims. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and maintained his innocence throughout the process. He is currently in prison awaiting trial.
