Diddy’s son criticized for taking over disgraced star’s Instagram, promoting ‘positivity’ amid serious allegations

Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs is facing criticism for hijacking the disgraced star’s Instagram account in an effort to promote positivity amid serious sex trafficking allegations.

He said in the IG video, “Right now, I’m taking over my dad’s Instagram. We’ll post videos, spread good energy, take you all down memory lane, all the positive things that he did.”

“So stay tuned and watch this. We love you guys, happy birthday,” he added.

The comments section was immediately flooded with fans expressing their outrage.

One comment said: “Honey, we don’t want to hear this bad thing today”, in the context of Donald Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris in the US presidential election.

Another said: “Wow your timing is terrible.”

According to a long comment, “What people don’t realize is, he may love his father and support him to the fullest. But don’t try to create a story about us as evidence, footage, Outcry, lawsuits, and other exaggerations about the years are forgivable. Support him, love him, but don’t try to make us do the same.”

Diddy has faced serious legal problems since his arrest last September on multiple federal charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking, conspiracy and prostitution. His trial is set for next year.

Meanwhile on X, @wtffolly_ wrote, “None of those positive things can outweigh the negative things he did, lol.”

Some fans came to King’s defense, writing: “He’s not responsible for what his dad did, he will still love his dad.”

Another said: “Why do you have a negative attitude when you go to someone’s page?!?!”

Earlier this week, Quincy Combs shared a video on social media in which six of Combs’ seven siblings came together to sing “Happy Birthday” to their father, who turned 55.

After the serenade, Diddy told his children from the Metropolitan Detention Center, “I can’t wait to meet you. I just want to say I’m proud of you, especially the girls. I mean yes, all of you.” ‘all, just to be strong.’

He can also be heard saying: “Thank you all for being strong and thank you all for being by my side and supporting me.”

“I love you guys. I have the best family in the world. It’s my birthday. I’m so happy. Thank you for calling me. I love you.”
