Fatman Scoop’s final words before his death have come to light after he suddenly collapsed during a performance in Connecticut last Friday night.

In a live performance clip shared by TMZ, the “Be Faithful” rapper appears on stage shirtless, energetically moving from side to side.

Suddenly, he appeared exhausted, panting as he walked towards the DJ booth.

The 53-year-old shouted to the crowd, “I told Hamden to make some noise!”

After a moment of silence, he suddenly blurted out, “If you come to the party,” then paused to regain his composure.

“Make some noise,” he urged before falling to the stage.

After his statement, Fatman Scoop collapsed to the floor, the microphone slipping from his hands amid cheers from the audience and immediate reactions from those nearby.

Discussing the unfortunate event on the “Kyle and Jackie O Show” on Monday morning, the hosts shared a short excerpt from Fatman Scoop’s final show.

According to the Daily Mail, Jackie described the iconic rap artist’s last words as “ironic”.

“It’s ironic, not ironic, but funny that his last words were also the most iconic words we know him by,” she told her co-hosts and listeners.

“In a way, it was hard to listen,” the 49-year-old added.

Jackie said the rapper died while doing what he loved – energizing audiences during live performances.

“It’s sad, isn’t it,” Jackie admitted. “But then I guess it probably would have been, if he could have chosen a way to go, doing what he loved.”

Fatman Scoop is dead

In an emotional announcement on Facebook, Fatman Scoop tour manager Birch Michael shared the sad news of his passing on Saturday morning.

It is with the saddest heart that I announce the passing of Isaac Freeman III, better known as Fatman Scoop. He taught me how to be the Man I am today. I love you Scoop, Thank you so much…

“It is with the deepest sadness that I announce the passing of Isaac Freeman III, aka Fatman Scoop.”

“You taught me how to be the Man I am today. I love you Scoop, Thank you so much for everything you gave me. Rest in peace x.”

Messages of admiration and respect for the hip-hop artist came from musicians and fans.

Meanwhile, his ex-wife also spoke out for the first time through a touching post on social media.

Shanda Freeman and Fatman Scoop were together for 13 years before their divorce. Shanda showed no bitterness in her heartfelt tribute on Instagram, declaring, “We made history.”

She added, “We were FIRST. I’m so heartbroken. I love you. Always have.”
