Disneyland
Disney Neverland is a life simulation adventure game developed by Gameloft Montreal and published by Gameloft in 2023. Players will take care of a magical valley populated by beloved Disney and Pixar characters who have lost their memories due to a curse and it is up to players to help them rediscover their past lives in the valley.
The game was initially released in early access on multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Windows, and Xbox, with the macOS version released on September 6, 2022, and December 6, 2022. Disney’s Dream Valley was originally intended to be a free-to-play game, requiring the purchase of a “Founder’s Pack” or an active Xbox Game Pass subscription for early access.
However, due to the game’s huge success in Early Access, Gameloft decided to permanently convert it to a paid game in October 2023, canceling the free-to-play plan. The full version of the game was released on December 5, 2023, coinciding with the release of its first paid expansion pack, A Rift in Time. The arcade version of Apple Arcade was also launched on the same day, supporting Apple TV, iOS, and macOS, providing players with another way to enjoy the magical adventure of Disney’s Neverland.

How to play Disney Fantasy Light Valley
Disney Twilight Valley is a magical adventure game set in Twilight Valley, where various Disney and Pixar characters live. Similar to Animal Crossing, players can control a customizable character to explore the valley in real time. The valley has different biomes, and players can use magic to clear “nightthorns”, nasty plants with dark magic.
Exploration involves gathering resources, cooking food at designated stations, and crafting materials or furniture. Enchanted tools (such as pickaxes or fishing rods) require eating to recharge. The game introduces a unique “full” state that provides movement speed boosts and other advantages. Unlike Animal Crossing, tools, clothing, and furniture do not clutter the inventory, and tools never break.
Players can earn “Star Coins” by selling items to characters like Goofy. Star Coins can be used to purchase crops, seeds, materials, food, and custom clothing or furniture. They can also invest in building upgrades to gain more space or perks. Interacting with villagers, making friends with them, and participating in various activities help increase friendship levels, which in turn earns rewards and exclusive items. Disney Dream Valley offers an immersive, non-linear gaming experience that combines exploration, creativity, and interaction with beloved characters.

Disney Fantasy Valley Story
Disney Neverland is a 2023 life simulation adventure game developed by Gameloft Montreal and published by Gameloft. In the game, players are placed in Neverland, a magical land populated by Disney and Pixar characters who have lost their memories due to the curse of the Nightthorn. Under the guidance of Merlin, the player’s task is to clear the Nightthorn, restore the valley, and help the characters regain their memories.
With Merlin’s help, players can use a magical power called Dreamlight to remove obstacles such as giant nightthorns and restore the memories hidden within. The story unfolds as players interact with villagers, unearth royal tools, break the spell of eternal night, and open gates to various realms.
Players collect Dreamlights, help characters from different realms, and gradually discover their role as the former ruler of Dreamlight Valley. As players repair the valley by reopening areas and returning magic orbs to pillars, they learn about dark beings known as the Forsaken, their inner children corrupted by negativity.
In the expansion pack, A Crack in Time, Jafar seeks the player’s help in repairing the damage on Timeless Island, introducing new challenges, characters, and a crack in time that needs mending. Players work together with familiar Disney faces to repair the damage and confront Jafar, leading to unexpected twists and turns in the storyline.
