Early life
DJ Neptune hails from Edo State, Southern Nigeria but was born in Lagos State on September 25 with the full name Patrick Imohiosen.
He is the youngest child and only son in a family of four children.
He was a Christian and spent most of his time in the commercial city of Lagos.
His father, Mr. Imohiosen, also wanted his only son, Patrick (DJ Neptune) to become an engineer in the future, but the Lagos-born man was adamant about pursuing his dream because he found love in music, which is why he was determined to become a DJ.

DJ Neptune completed his entire education from primary school to university in Lagos State, Nigeria.
First was primary school, then secondary school, where he obtained the mandatory West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
He then went on to study Mass Communication at the University of Lagos, located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Career
DJ Neptune developed an interest in becoming a DJ at the age of 10. He started by entertaining friends and family.
He was mentored by an experienced DJ named Douglas and became a professional DJ in 2001. He became famous when he started working as a full-time DJ for the popular radio station Ray Power 100.5 from 2004 to 2010.
He was then signed by the famous Nigerian rapper and singer Naeto C to be his official DJ. Soon after, he thought of building his brand as a professional DJ and becoming famous. This is when he started producing remixes for free download on the internet.
His idea to promote his brand was successful and a few months later, he released his first collaboration with Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga and Naeto C on the 123 remix.
DJ Neptune continued to perform many hits such as “The Late Dagrin” featuring MI Abaga, This Gbedu featuring Ice Prince, So Nice featuring Davido and Del B, Baddest featuring Olamide, Scooby-Doo featuring Jesse Jagz, General Pype and Lynxx.
DJ Neptune has successfully released his debut hit album titled Greatness, which consists of 13 tracks featuring Davido, Mr Eazi, Niniola, Olamide, Mayorkun, Runtown, Phyno, Maleek Berry, C4 Pedro, Zoro, Small Doctor, Slimcase and many more.
