Early life
DJ Voyst was born to Mr. and Mrs. Yusuf in 1997. He comes from a Muslim background and grew up in the Akoko area of Lagos.
He hails from North Central Nigeria and hails from Kogi State. Living in Lagos exposed Tunde to a rich musical culture and he soon developed an interest in art. His DJ career started during his high school days. Because he would act as a DJ at school parties, neighborhood parties, and carnivals. Around this time, he came up with the stage name DJ Voyst.

He is close friends with singer Joeboy. The duo attended the same middle school. Just like JoeBoy, DJ Voyst is a talented musician. He began writing songs when he was a teenager. He is known in the industry as the Sound Surgeon.
Education
DJ Voyst completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos.
He obtained his degree from the University of Lagos.
Career
While still a college student, DJ Voyst decided to try his hand at audio production. He linked up with some budding music producers at his school and began researching them. Within a few months, he got the hang of the craft and started making beats for upcoming artists in Lagos.
Besides that, he continued to pursue a Disc Jockey career and was invited to perform at many social events in Lagos and southwestern Nigeria. He has performed at Mainland Block Party and Island Block Party in the past.
In December 2019, he had the opportunity to perform at Starboy Fest. Success found him again and he was invited to perform as a DJ at the Black Out Concert organized by DJ Tunez.
DJ Voyst has also hosted his own shows. In collaboration with Cream City Entertainment, he organized The Sound Surgeon tour in Yaba Tech and Tejuosho Complex, Yaba.
As an artist, he has graced the scene with the likes of Oxlade, Joeboy, T-Classic, Ckay Yo, Oba Lurge, Kidda, Blaqbonez, Starboy Terri, Flex B, Sky Lolo, Yusuf Kanbai , Elhi and DJ Tunez.

He has released mixtapes such as Hold You Down and Next Generation.
In December 2020, he featured Elhi on his hit single Halle.
