While Nina seems to enjoy talking about her crafts and the story behind them, there was no response when the interviewer reached out to her to talk about life in general.
With that said, it’s safe to say that Nina won’t be sharing her relationship status on social media anytime soon.
But despite all that,oldaintdead.com attempted to state “she lives in London with a long-term boyfriend” in her September 2014 article.
And so, while her real life is not very up to date, she has portrayed many lives on screen and on stage. From exchanging vows in a gay marriage, playing a lesbian wife, to experiencing being a divorced mother and a widow, she has lived it all in some way.

Nina Sosanya was born in Islington, London; raised in Wood Green, in the London borough of Haringey and Rutland in the East Midlands of England. She is of mixed descent from her Nigerian father and English mother, both of whom are haematologists.
Speaking to the Guardian, she revealed that growing up, Nina was always the minority in the room, even in her immediate family, who were all white.
So seeing white faces everywhere and feeling like a minority became the norm. In her words: “I remember a young black woman once said to me, ‘How do you see yourself?’ And I jokingly replied, ‘With a mirror.’ Understandably, she was furious. I’ve always called myself ‘mixed,’ but that’s not true anymore. But calling myself ‘black’ would be a denial of my mother. There are so many boxes you can put yourself in, and the part of the Venn diagram where they overlap is probably who you are.”
Nina’s theatre-loving mother, who regularly took her on tours, including to the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon, played a huge part in shaping Nina into the actress she is today.
She was active, athletic and enjoyed sports and gymnastics as a child. Later, as a teenager, she was drawn to a production about gamblers and gambling. “It was a combination of everything on this little box stage, the music, the dancing, the lights. It was so exciting. I thought, ‘I can do that!’
So, after briefly attending Vale of Catmose College in Oakham, she completed two and a half years of a three-year vocational dance course using the Martha Graham technique at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance; before dropping out after an injury forced her to abandon her stage career. It was only then that she decided to focus on straight acting.
