Don Mlangeni Nawa began his acting career at the Performance Centre. However, he later moved to the Zulu performance group Hlala Kwabafileyo in 1993.
He also played the role of David in the Zulu film Ubambo Lawam. Then, in 1995, he starred in the series Simenon. Finally, in 1998, he played the famous role of “Sibidi Matabane” in the TV series Isidingo.
He continued to play the role until 2014 and achieved great success. In 2006, he won the Golden Horn Award for Best Actor in a TV Series for his role in “Isidingo”.
