Donald Adeoson Faison was born on June 22, 1974, in Harlem, New York City, USA. His mother, Shirley Faison, was a realtor, and his father, Donald Faison, was a construction manager.
His parents divorced when he was 18. He is the eldest son in the family. He has a younger brother named Olamide Faison who is a musician. One of his siblings is Dade Faison.
Donald Faison is of Nigerian descent. His parents were active in the National Black Theater in Harlem. He attended the Manhattan Professional Children’s School with his good friend, actor Dash Mihok.
