Dota 2 7.33E Patch Notes: Check Out the Latest Updates and Changes

Dota 2 7.33e Patch Notes

The Dota series is a well-known strategy video game series that originated in 2003 with Defense of the Ancients (DotA), a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) mod for Warcraft III. After Valve acquired the rights to Dota, it released Dota 2 as a standalone game in 2013, offering new gameplay elements and a different universe from Warcraft.

In 2018, Artifact, a digital collectible card game inspired by Dota 2, was launched, followed by Dota Underlords, an automatic battle game based on the Dota auto-chess module. DotA’s popularity as a mod and Dota 2’s status as a seminal video game have made them influential in the MOBA genre and esports, especially international tournaments. While Valve’s spinoff was well-received, Artifact faced challenges and was discontinued shortly after release.

7.33 What changes have occurred in C?

In Dota 2’s 7.33c patch, various changes were made to items and neutral items, specifically targeting offline items that were prominent in the game during this patch. One notable adjustment is to the Insights Pipeline project.

It has undergone nerfs, reducing its health regeneration bonus and magic resistance bonus. Additionally, the mana cost to activate the Barrier ability of the Tube of Insight has been increased. These changes are intended to balance the effectiveness and impact of offline items in the game, ensuring a more balanced and fair gaming experience.

The following are general updates for 7.33 C

  • Picking up a Rune of Wisdom now also provides experience to the lowest level hero in the team (if the lowest level hero picks up a rune, the experience will be passed to the second lowest level hero)

  • Observer Ward experience bounty increased from 50+6/minute to 70+8/minute

  • When a stacked camp is killed, the stacked player will gain 30% experience (the same percentage as the gold bounty)

  • Tormentor Reflection now always affects the attacking hero regardless of distance

  • Cleared multiple tree paths leading to dead ends and deceptive looking terrain

  • Hero bonus attribute points are now proficient starting at level 6

  • Universal hero damage per attribute increased from 0.6 to 0.7

Dota 2 patch 7.33e nerfs

Patch 7.33c introduced major nerfs to address the dominance of certain heroes, such as Medusa and Alchemist, who performed well in the Berlin Major and Pub tournaments. Changes include a longer cooldown for Medusa’s Mystic Serpent and adjustments to her mana shield, while the Alchemist’s Greevil and bonus gold bonus are reduced.

General changes focus on game dynamics, with changes being made to Runes of Wisdom and Tormentor items to prevent exploits. In addition, item adjustments and nerfs, particularly to the Pipe of Insight, Crimson Ward, and Vanguard, help create a more balanced meta. As the Dota 2 landscape evolves, players and teams must adapt strategies to adapt to these changes and explore new possibilities for success.

Well-known heroes like Medusa and Alchemist have received significant nerfs due to their stellar performance, while overall changes address game dynamics and imbalance issues.

Notable changes include the Rune of Wisdom now providing experience to the lowest level allies, and improvements to the mechanics of Tormentor items. Additionally, the hero changes will affect Medusa, Alchemist, Riki, Seer, Sniper, and Soulbreaker.

There are also item tweaks and tweaks to neutral items (especially offline items) present in this patch. As the Dota 2 landscape evolves, players and teams must adapt their strategies to take advantage of the new challenges and opportunities introduced in patch 7.33c.

Dota 2

Valve’s Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game released in 2013. It is the sequel to Defense of the Ancients (DotA), a popular mod created by Blizzard Entertainment for the Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos community. The game is played as a match between two teams, each consisting of five players, each with their own base on the map to defend and capture.

Each player controls a unique and powerful character called a “Hero” and must strategically utilize their abilities and playstyles to defeat the opposing team’s Heroes in player-versus-player combat. Throughout the game, players gain experience points and collect items to aid them in combat.

The ultimate goal is to destroy the opposing team’s “Ancient,” a large structure located within their base. The first team to successfully destroy the opponent’s ancient ruins will win.
