Charles Enebeli (born 23 October 1986), performing globally under the stage name D’Prince, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and businessman.
He is the founder and CEO of Jonzing World, an entertainment company he founded in 2019.
His record label, affiliated with Mavin Records, is home to artists such as Rema and Ruger.

Early life
D’Prince was born in Lagos on October 23, 1986. He is the son of Collins Enebeli, a businessman.
His father is also a music executive and founder of the record label Sagittarius Productions. His mother is Patience Enebeli, an international business magnate. He is from Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.
D’Prince is the younger brother of music mogul and CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy.
Music has always been in the family, and he is no stranger to the music business. D’Prince is also known as “Omoba”, “Son of a King” in Yoruba.
Education
After completing his primary education, D’Prince attended King’s College in Lagos, where he obtained his West African Senior Certificate. After completing his secondary education, he chose to pursue his passion for music.
Career
Paying tribute to his mentors Fela Kuti and Bob Marley, D’Prince uses a fusion of Afrobeat and Afropop to breathe life into his music to honor his mentors. His songs are grounded in truth and life, with deeper meanings, documenting the struggles of a young Nigerian trying to achieve his dreams. He performs in Igbo, English, and Pidgin English.
D’Prince was invited to join Mo’ Hits Records in 2005 after his brother Don Jazzy returned from England to promote the label in Nigeria. Since joining Mo’ Hits Records in 2005, he has been behind the scenes working on his solo album Frenzy, which was released under the label in 2012.
D’Prince recorded several songs for Mo’ Hits Records and Mo’ Hits Records’ compilation album Curriculum Vitae, released in December 2007. The album included the hit singles, “Booty Call”, “Close To You”, “Masquerade”, “Stop The Violence”, “Igbe Mi”, “Hey Girl”, “What You Want To Do To Me”, “Oh No”, which was the lead single.
On November 25, 2009, D’Prince released a single titled “Omoba” and it was re-released in 2010. On April 13, 2010, the official video for the song “Omoba” was released through Mo’ Hits Records.
He moved to Mavin Records after Mo’ Hits Records dissolved in 2012. On 31 October 2012, he released three singles, “Goody Bag”, “Call The Police” and “Real G”, featuring MI Abaga from his debut studio album Frenzy. On 5 November 2012, he released his “first” studio album Frenzy. The album featured Wande Coal, Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Wizkid, Timaya, MI Abaga, Tiwa Savage, Bracket, Sinzu (aka Sauce Kid), Eva Alordiah, General Pype and Ice Prince. The deluxe edition was released on Truspot.
His studio albums were exclusively produced by his brother Don Jazzy, with BabyFresh, Burssbrain (aka Altims), Aone Beats, Spellz and Joshbeatz. On May 8, 2012, Mavin released his first compilation album Solar Plexus, featuring D’Prince among others. He recorded solos “Take Banana” and “Amarachi” on the album, which became major hits.
In 2014, he released “OYO (On Your Own)”, a wake-up call to the nation to stand up for themselves. The album was produced by Don Jazzy, with him commenting, “Hey guys, now is not the time, it’s time to sit back and think about your life”. According to music critic Chinwe Okafor of YNaija, the album is probably the best thing he has done in a while.
Chinwe Okafor described the song as a modern Fela Kuti tune, rating it 3.5 out of 5 and giving it an A for effort and acting skills. In the quote, “This video basically depicts the lazy people in this country,” she said. On November 30, the visual for OYO was released and was shot in Lagos by Clarence Peters.
On August 3, 2015, he released Bestie, which featured Don Jazzy and Babyfresh, who also played a major role as producers on the song.
On October 2, 2017, he released Sade, produced by BabyFresh. On the same day, he released the music video for Sade, filmed by Unlimited LA.
On February 16, 2018, he released Gucci Gang, produced by Don Jazzy. On April 27, 2018, he released the music video, directed by Director Q.
On February 28, 2018, Rema posted a freestyle of Gucci Gang on Instagram, tagging himself and Don Jazzy in the post, which caught the attention of D’Prince and helped Rema get a recording deal with Jonzing World.
On May 3, 2019, he released a three-track extended play titled Lavida, produced by Altims and Babyfresh. The extended play also featured Rema and Don Jazzy.
On March 22, 2019, he launched the record label and management company Jonzing World. A Mavin Records label and home to recording artists Rema and Ruger. On January 21, 2021, Jonzing World released One Shirt, featuring Ruger, D’Prince and Rema. On the same day, Jonzing World released the visual for One Shirt, shot by Priorgold Pictures.
Personal life
In 2015, D’Prince had a child with Sharon Oparacho, a graduate of Coventry University, UK. In 2016, the couple welcomed their second child.
It is rumored that D’Prince is married to the mother of his child, Sharon Oparacho.
