early life
Dr. Baz was born into a poor family of Mr. and Mrs. Akpomon in the early 1990s.
He was born in Benin, the capital of Edo State. He and his siblings grew up in the city of Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
His love for music dates back to his teenage years. He began writing lyrics at the age of 13 and was an active member of the church choir.
