Dragon Ball Super Chapter 93 Review

Goku develops a friendship with Zen Lord, the supreme ruler who oversees all universes, and vows to find him a partner. However, their peaceful time is shattered when Future Trunks returns with shocking news about an enemy named Goku Black, who bears a striking resemblance to Goku himself.

Investigation revealed that Goku Black was actually Zamasu, the disciple of Supreme Kai of Universe 10. Zamasu used the Super Dragon Balls to steal Goku’s body from a parallel world and planned to eliminate all humans and use Goku’s power to seize control of the universe.

In a climactic showdown, Future Zen successfully eliminates Zamasu and erases the dark future timeline. Future Zen returns to the present with Goku and becomes friends with Present Zen. Future Trunks, on the other hand, embarks on a journey to his own alternate timeline.

In the future, both Zens have orchestrated a grand tournament of power, featuring teams of warriors from eight of the twelve universes. The defeated universe faces permanent erasure.

The briefly resurrected Frieza joins Goku, his allies, Android 17, and others in the tournament to engage in fierce battles with powerful opponents such as Jiren from Universe 11. Throughout the game, Goku undergoes a transformation known as “Freedom”, reaching a state where he fights instinctively without relying on conscious thought.
