Lord of the Fallen Drustan Quest Guide

In the world of Lords of the Fallen, Drustan’s questline is a fun and poignant journey that unfolds as you progress through the game. This guide will guide you through the various stages of Drustan’s questline, helping you understand his story and how to interact with him throughout the game.

Drustan and his brother Melchior

When you first meet Drustan in the caves of Fitzroy Gorge, he introduces himself and, interestingly, calls you “Lampghost”, just like him. A strange lamp hung around his waist. Drustan believed he was immortal because of the lamp, but he was deceived into thinking it was the true Shadow Lamp. His mission is to find his brother Melchior and cut off his head to make a bold statement. Drustan shared the story of Melchior, a famous knight who fought against dragons and giants. However, he lost track of his brother after he fell. Drustan believed that Melchior had been overrun by their enemies. This marks the beginning of his quest line.

What happened to Lower Carraras

You’ll meet Drustan again in a large building in Lower Calaras, beneath the ruins of Lydia the Numb Witch. At this time, he is wearing a unique barrel-shaped helmet. Drustan shared that a “good guy with a mustache” told him that his brother had been taken away by “bad guys” who were heading to the castle. He planned to go to the castle, but needed a short break. Drustan’s faith in his brother is unwavering, and he believes Melchior will solve their problems if he is discovered.

Journey to the Cold Cursed Fiefdom

In the cold cursed fiefdom, Drustan continues to search for his brother. The severe cold in the area gave him trouble, and he struggled to light a fire due to numbness. Drustan is convinced that his lamp will bring him back to life if he dies, but he still doesn’t know that’s false. By helping him in this regard, you will aid him in his search for Melchior.

The fate of Drustan in Bramis Castle

The final chapter of the Drustan quest line begins at Bramis Castle. You will enter the interior of the castle and after fighting enemies you will reach a broken tower where Drustan ended his life. In this location you’ll find a reveal of Drustan’s last moments of shame. Watch it to learn his fate and obtain unique items. There is another disgrace in the castle throne room that reveals Melchior’s story.

If you missed your chance to help Drustan early in the game, you’ll find his remains, along with valuable items, in the gatehouse of Cold Cursed Fiefdom.

Lord of the Fallen gameplay

In this game, you play from a third-person perspective. You can use melee weapons (such as swords) and magic to fight enemies. The way you fight in this game is similar to other games like Dark Souls, which means it’s challenging. You can explore the game’s story alone or with friends. You can also compete with other players in multiplayer mode. At the beginning of the game, you can create your character and choose from nine character types. The game world is quite large, even larger than the 2014 version.

What’s unique here is that there are two worlds overlapping each other. One is called Axiom, where living things are; the other is Umbral, where the dead are. You can switch between these two worlds using a special lantern. Sometimes places that are inaccessible in one world are accessible in another.

If your character dies, they enter the Shadow World and you need to return to the Axiom World to regain the experience points you lost when you died. But if you die in the Umbra, you’ll be returned to your last save point and lose any experience points you haven’t used yet. Save points in each area are rare, but you can create your own by collecting materials from monsters in the Shadow World.
