Dude Perfect (born March 16, 2009) is an American comedy and sports group based in Texas, consisting of five male members: Tyler Toney, twin brothers Cory Cotton and Coby Cotton, Garrett Hilbert and Cody Jones; all are alumni of Texas A&M University.

Early life
A video of Dude Perfect performing tricks at Tyler Toney’s ranch was uploaded to YouTube on April 9, 2009. The video garnered over 200,000 views in less than a week. Shortly after, the group released their second video, filmed at the Sky Ranch Christian summer camp.
The video has garnered more than 18 million views, and Dude Perfect has pledged to sponsor a child through Compassion International for every 100,000 views. Dude Perfect also received an endorsement deal from ESPN after the video reportedly went viral.

Dude Perfect introduced the Panda mascot in 2010. The Panda mascot quickly became a popular icon as it humiliated opposing players at Texas A&M basketball games.

In 2016, Dude Perfect came to the UK to film a video featuring Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea players. In 2020, they aired the fourth All Sports Golf Battle, which was pre-recorded in 2019 and featured actor Zac Efron, who finished third in the final.
The group also had the opportunity to take a three-day trip aboard the US Navy’s Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, which they documented as an episode for their Bucket List. In their second bucket list video, Dude Perfect also went to South Africa. They released episode 27 of Overtime in 2021, and Dallas Mavericks center Boban Marjanovic made a guest appearance.

Dude Perfect released Dude Perfect, a free mobile game for iOS and Android, in 2011. They later released Dude Perfect 2 as well as Endless Ducker and That’s Lit. After launching the mobile apps, Cory Cotton wrote Go Big, a nationally published book in which he discusses the lessons the team learned while growing a business in a world dominated by social media.
The group received approval for a television series called The Dude Perfect Show on CMT in September 2015, premiering in the first quarter of 2016. The show’s second season aired on Nickelodeon.
Dude Perfect embarked on their first live tour in 2019. The band also announced their second live tour in 2020, which was eventually postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and rescheduled for 2021.
World record
After throwing from the third floor of Kyle Field in 2009, the Dude Perfect team set the Guinness World Record for the longest basketball shot. They broke the record in October 2010 with a cross-tower shot from 66 meters (216 feet), with the basket 45 meters (150 feet) from the base of the tower.
Dude Perfect unofficially broke their record in March 2011 with a shot from the top of Reliant Stadium that lasted 5.3 seconds in the air.
