Dude Perfect (born March 16, 2009) is an American comedy and sports group based in Texas, consisting of five male members: Tyler Toney, twin brothers Cory Cotton and Coby Cotton, Garrett Hilbert and Cody Jones; all are alumni of Texas A&M University.
Their YouTube channel has over 57 million subscribers, making it one of the most subscribed sports channels on YouTube. Dude Perfect runs several different YouTube channels, all of which are successful.
Dude Perfect’s content consists primarily of videos showcasing various tricks, patterns, and stunts. They also often post battle films where members compete against each other in a friendly game or competition that combines multiple sports and a unique set of rules.
Dude Perfect is also the creator of the show Overtime, which has many segments hosted by them.

Early life
A video of Dude Perfect performing tricks at Tyler Toney’s ranch was uploaded to YouTube on April 9, 2009. The video garnered over 200,000 views in less than a week. Shortly after, the group released their second video, filmed at the Sky Ranch Christian summer camp.
The video has garnered more than 18 million views, and Dude Perfect has pledged to sponsor a child through Compassion International for every 100,000 views. Dude Perfect also received an endorsement deal from ESPN after the video reportedly went viral.
Dude Perfect introduced the Panda mascot in 2010. The Panda mascot quickly became a popular icon as it humiliated opposing players at Texas A&M basketball games.

The Dude Perfect team has received numerous professional endorsements and sponsorships, starting with former Sacramento Kings star Tyreke Evans promoting Tyreke Evans as a Rookie of the Year candidate. Dude Perfect was also featured on Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory.

Business project
Dude Perfect released Dude Perfect, a free mobile game for iOS and Android, in 2011. They later released Dude Perfect 2 as well as Endless Ducker and That’s Lit. After launching the mobile apps, Cory Cotton wrote Go Big, a nationally published book in which he discusses the lessons the team learned while growing a business in a world dominated by social media.
The group received approval for a television series called The Dude Perfect Show on CMT in September 2015, premiering in the first quarter of 2016. The show’s second season aired on Nickelodeon.
Dude Perfect embarked on their first live tour in 2019. The band also announced their second live tour in 2020, which was eventually postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and rescheduled for 2021.
World record
After throwing from the third floor of Kyle Field in 2009, the Dude Perfect team set the Guinness World Record for the longest basketball shot. They broke the record in October 2010 with a cross-tower shot from 66 meters (216 feet), with the basket 45 meters (150 feet) from the base of the tower.
Dude Perfect unofficially broke their record in March 2011 with a shot from the top of Reliant Stadium that lasted 5.3 seconds in the air.
