Early life
Emefa Akosua Adeti was born on June 25 in Larteh Akuapem.
Her father is Togbe Tutu V, the traditional ruler of Bakpa Community. While her mother is Monica Mensah. Her father is a retired teacher while her mother is a cooked food trader in the market. She is said to be the best bean seller in the community.
Emefa Akosua Adeti comes from Bakpa town, located in the Volta Region. She has three siblings. As a teenager, she would accompany her mother to the market and help her sell food.
She revealed that she owes much of her success to her father. Because he was a very disciplined man and made sure he instilled in her the values of hard work, honesty and diligence.
Although she lived in the Volta region, she always vacationed in Tema.
Education
Emefa Adeti completed her primary schooling in Bakpa town.
She attended Mawuko Girls’ High School.
She attended Takoradi Polytechnic and graduated with a Higher National Diploma (HND) majoring in Marketing.
She then obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
Career
In 2012, Emefa Akosua Adeti entered the Most Beautiful Girl in Ghana contest and won.
As a television presenter, she has hosted the cooking show, Ongalicious. She was one of the co-hosts of Ghana’s Most Beautiful Girl (2016 & 2017 editions).
She also hosted Secure Girl Talk for two seasons (2018 and 2019); GTP Wear Ghana Fashion Show; Spotlight which aired on TV3.
She is currently one of the hosts of Prime Morning TV (6:00-9:00 AM) which airs weekly on Joy Prime TV.
She is one of the top brand influencers in Ghana. She has collaborated with many top brands in the country.
