Eminem isn’t afraid of the next chapter of his life, even if it means he will officially become a grandfather.

The “Houdini” rapper announced that his daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, 28, and husband Evan McClintock, are expecting their first child in the music video for his song “Temporary.” The video includes Eminem walking Hailie down the aisle as well as the moment he is told she is pregnant.

Near the end of the song’s music video, Hailie can be seen giving her father a Detroit Lions jersey, which reads “Grandpa” on the back as well as an ultrasound photo of her soon-to-be bundle of joy .

Eminem was visibly shocked when first given the information and was genuinely surprised when presented with the photo. Hailie laughed as her father was confused as to what was going on.

It is currently unknown what the baby’s gender is and Eminem has not responded to comment at this time.

News of their new bundle of joy comes months after Hailie and her husband tied the knot in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Daily mail reports that the wedding was attended by close friends and family and was held at Greencrest Manor.

Scott and McClintock have been together since 2016 before they got engaged last February.

Eminem previously opened up about Hailie’s childhood in the song “Somebody Save Me.” In the song, he raps about his past drug use and how it affected his children.

“Sorry that I chose drugs and put them above you / Sorry that I didn’t love you enough to give them up,” he says.

Since then, Eminem has quit drinking and has remained so for 16 years.
