Eminem campaigns for Kamala Harris in Detroit after Trump criticized his hometown

Eminem is the latest celebrity to get into the political game and he’s chosen his side.

According to a new report, the “Without Me” rapper is officially joining the campaign for Kamala Harris in the key battleground state of Michigan.

Independence revealed that Eminem is set to introduce former President Barack Obama at a presidential campaign rally in the rapper’s hometown of Detroit on October 22. They went on to report that Eminem will not perform at the rally situation, he will only introduce Obama.

Eminem has not commented on the report.

News of his support for Harris comes after he has long criticized Republican candidate Donald Trump. He previously released an anti-Trump song called “Campaign Speech” in 2016.

“Turn on the faucet, I’m fucked / A bunch of Trump supporters in the water / Sneak in / Ray-Bans in a gray truck with a tan / It’s a wrap, like ACE bandages / Don’t give up the -af–k Persona, to the last strand of my DNA,” he raps throughout the song.

This is not the first time Eminem has attacked Trump. In an interview with Shade 45 SiruisXM in 2017, the rapper said he couldn’t stand that “fuck.”

“I was waiting for him to say something, and for some reason, he didn’t say anything. I can’t stand that bastard,” Independence report.

Eminem also led his audience at the UK Reading Festival in a chant of “f— Trump” during his headlining performance, telling them: “He made my country We’re crazy in America.”

The legendary rapper may not be too pleased with Trump’s recent comments about the city of Detroit when Trump gave a speech at the Detroit Economic Club.

“The whole country would be like that, do you want to know the truth? It would be like Detroit. Our whole country would be like Detroit if she were your president. You would have a mess on hand,” Trump said Independence.

“We will not let her do that to this country,” he added. We will not let that happen.”

Trump went on to claim that the auto industry in Detroit is “retiring” and that it “used to be a great city.”
