During his nine-year NFL career, Bieniemy played for the Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles. In 1994, he appeared in Super Bowl XXIX with the Chargers, recording a 33-yard reception, the team’s longest play.
After retiring as a player, Bieniemy began his coaching career at the high school level before transitioning to college football.
