Early life
Elohor Eva Alordiah, commonly known as Eva Alordiah, was born on August 13, 1988 in Abuja but hails from Delta State, in the South East of Nigeria. She has four siblings.
She was musically influenced by her mother, who was not a singer but was a great music fan. She grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Sade Adu, The Carpenters, John Lennon and Don Williams, among others.
According to her, Eva Alordiah got her rapping skills and inspiration from Eminem. At the age of seven, she was already involved in some form of art. Due to her strong passion for music, Eva Alordiah joined the choir group in her church. At the age of 10, she wrote a short story in her notebook and dreamed of becoming an author.
After discovering Eminem, she began writing rap verses. Her love of lyrics and rhymes drew her deeper into hip-hop. At 16, Eva Alordiah found herself balancing school and business.
Personal life
Eva Alordiah’s boyfriend, Caesar Ume-Ezeoke, proposed to her at the 2015 Headies Awards. Kenyan star Victoria Kimani was on stage with the Nigerian rapper. When the show ended, Eva Alordiah’s boyfriend took the stage, got down on one knee in front of her, and popped the big question.

Career
Eva Alordiah started working on her first EP, The GIGO EP, when she was still a solo artist. Garbage in Garbage Out is the name of the EP. It was released on November 20, 2011. It has 9 songs and you can get a free digital copy.
The EP was promoted with four singles: I Done Did It, Down Low, Garbage Out (Your Fada) and High. The EP was produced in collaboration with Sossick, Tintin and Grey Jon. I Done Did It, the first single from the EP, was produced by Sossick.
In a 2012 interview with MTV Iggy’s Halley Bondy, Eva Alordiah said she was excited to work with the above producers. She also said that working on the EP was fun. High was her second single of 2012. The single was released on May 24, 2012 and Mex directed the music video.
In May 2012, MTV Base was the first to play the video. When the video came out, many people thought the song was about drug use because they didn’t understand. In an interview with MTV Iggy’s Bondy, Eva Alordiah said the song was about getting through hard times.

Thisday newspaper reported on 31 August 2014 that Eva Alordiah, Olamide and Phyno had joined Guinness Nigeria’s Made of Black campaign. She sang at the beginning of the campaign and also appeared in a television commercial for the campaign.
On November 6, 2014, it was announced that Eva Alordiah’s first studio album, scheduled for release in January 2015, would be titled 1960. On the album, artists such as Darey Art Alade, Femi Kuti, Yemi Alade, Olamide, Sarkodie and Sir Dauda would collaborate with other artists as guests.
Eva Alordiah released a free digital download of her second EP, titled “Eva,” on November 20, 2014. MEX produced the music video for her War Coming, which premiered on March 6, 2015.
