Exosomes
Exoprimal is a 2023 multiplayer video game produced by Capcom. In the game, you play as an exoskeleton soldier called an “Exoskeleton Warrior.” You have to complete missions while fighting tons of dinosaurs, while also trying to defeat a lousy computer program called Leviathan.
The game features two teams of five players each, who compete to defeat waves of dinosaurs and complete the mission faster than the other team.
Exoprimal launches on July 14, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It’s also available on Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud. The game received mixed reviews from some critics.

original gameplay
In Exoprimal, players control ex-soldiers and split into two teams, competing to complete an objective first. There are different exoskeleton suits, each with their own weapons and abilities, divided into three categories: attack, tank, and support. For example, Roadblock is a tough tank with a shield, while Witchdoctor can heal others, and Barrage is a specialist with explosives.
During the game, players can switch professions or use “equipment” to gain the abilities of other professions. As they play the game, they can also unlock new cosmetics and cosmetics for their outfits and weapons through the Survival Pass.
The main mode is “Dinosaur Survival,” in which two teams of five players race to complete goals set by Leviathan. The main opponents are dinosaurs from the mysterious vortex, such as Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Raptor, and special creatures “dinosaurs” with unique abilities.
These objectives include missions such as “Dinosaur Culling”, where the player eliminates specific dinosaurs, or “VTOL Defense,” where the aircraft is protected from dinosaur attacks. By achieving these goals, players earn experience points to level up their characters and unlock further story missions. Game director Takuro Hiraoka mentioned that sometimes players may need to cooperate or compete with each other during the game.

In 2040, strange portals called “whirlpools” began to appear on the earth, allowing hostile dinosaurs and mutated creatures called “dinosaurs” to pour in, causing chaos around the world. To fight back, humanity deploys “ex-soldiers,” soldiers wearing high-tech exoskeleton suits made by the company Abius.
Appius also created an advanced artificial intelligence called “Leviathan” to help retired soldiers predict the location of vortices. But competition ensues, with mercenaries and private military groups trying to gain the upper hand.
In 2043, Patrol Team #52585 known as the Hammerheads, led by rookie exoskeleton fighter Ace, got caught in a vortex while on a mission and landed on Bikitoa in a strange parallel timeline. There, Ace meets Magnum, an experienced former warrior who helps Hammerhead, and Leviathan, who seems to have gone out of control and is hosting a “war game”.
These “war games” involve combat trials in which participants are sent back to the year 2040 to fight waves of dinosaurs as well as those that emerge from the vortex opened by Leviathan itself. With the support of Magnum and the Hammerheads, Ace participated in these games while trying to uncover Leviathan’s secrets.

A game review is like a report that tells us how good or bad a game is. People who play the game try to describe what they like and don’t like about it. They might talk about graphics, gameplay, and whether the story is interesting. Game reviews help others decide whether to play the game. Sometimes, different reviewers have different opinions, so it’s a good idea to read some reviews to get a better idea of whether the game is right for you.
