Faith Muthambi began her political ambitions while still in school. In 1989, she entered national politics when she became a member of the South African National Congress of Students. She was an active member for one year (1 year) before leaving in 1990.
Her existence was a plan to raise her game, which led her to the position of Secretary of the Tshimbupfe branch of the ANCYL in Limpopo. She served in this capacity for a year, ending in 1992. Soon after, she became a member of the Executive Committee of the Shimbupfe branch of the ANC.
Ms Faith Muthambi also served for six years as Deputy Secretary of the Vuwani Region of the ANC (1993-1999)
Ms Faith Muthambi has served in various capacities, including holding a senior position in SCOPA and serving as a Whip on the Communications Portfolio Committee. She has also held the responsibilities of Senior Manager: Corporate Services, Legal Adviser and City Manager. In addition to these positions, she has also worked as the Manager of Labour Relations in the Limpopo Premier’s Office.
Ms. Faith Muthambi was a member of the ANCYL REC & PEC, and in 2006, she became an honorary member of the ANC Regional Executive Committee in the Vhembe region. From 2005 to 2008, she was the Provincial Treasurer of the ANCYL, Limpopo.
