Famke Beumer Janssen (born 5 November 1964) is a Dutch actress and former fashion model.
She is best known for her roles as Jean Grey / Phoenix in the X-Men film series (2000–2014), Ava Moore in Nip/Phoenix (2000–2014), and Lenore Mills in Taken (2008–2014).
Another notable achievement for the Netherlands was its appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador for Integrity by the United Nations in 2008.

early life
Famke Beumer Janssen is of Dutch descent and was born on November 5, 1964 in Amstelveen, the Netherlands.
She is the sister of the famous film director Antoinette Beumer and actress Marjolein Beumer.
