Early life and education
Femi Branch was born in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria on May 14, 1970. His parents are Otunba Gbolade and Chief Modupe Osunkoya of Odosombola town in Ijebu North East Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Femi Branch grew up in Sagamu, the son of city teachers. He attended Satellite Town Primary School in Ojo, Lagos State, Nigeria, and obtained his Junior Secondary School Certificate.
After completing her primary education, Femi Branch attended the Air Force Secondary School in Ikeja, the Lagos State capital, and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing his secondary education, he attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Osun State where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts.
Profession
Femi Branch began his career in 1991 at Obafemi Awolowo University, the same year he acted in a Yoruba stage play titled “Eniyan”.
He later appeared in a movie produced by the faculty of Obafemi Awolowo University titled Orisun (meaning: Origin).
However, his first appearance on television was in 2003, in the MTN Group’s television commercial “Dance with Me”.
Femi Branch first gained fame for his role as Oscar in the Nigerian soap opera Domino. He has since starred in over a hundred Nigerian films, several of which he produced and directed.

Personal life
Femi Branch is married to Ibitola Owosanoye Branch. They have two lovely children, Nuela Branch and Nathan Branch.
He unveiled his title as Jagun Asa of Edland to his new wife during his inauguration ceremony in March 2018. The actor was crowned Jagun by the Timi of Edland, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal Laminisa I. This means he is a chief/king.
In 2015, Femi Branch was charged for allegedly issuing a bad cheque of N1.5 million to De Santo Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.
