As the thunder of the #EndSARS war grew louder, the need arose for a few individuals to orchestrate and encourage the smooth running of the war. Non-mainstreamers needed to send money to cook for those outside the city. These assets were used to pay for the hospital bills of the injured dissidents, as well as to ensure the methods of rescuing the listed non-mainstreamers. Rewards and care for the dissidents were also arranged using these assets.
Feyikemi “FK” Abudu, in a joint effort with feminist_co, a coalition of women’s rights activists and some through online media, coordinated the return of some arrested dissidents, distributed assets for the treatment of harmed dissidents, and rallied, engaged and empowered non-mainstreamers.
While the dissident structure is largely leaderless, there are foot soldiers dispatched to ensure the smooth progress of things, and Feyikemi Abudu is one of them. Although FK Abudu is an advocate of the ‘live your best life’ mantra that empowers a life of happiness and luxury, especially for women who are often expected to endure difficult situations, she has proven that she can also focus and will work when needed.
