Oluwaseun Michael Esan (born 13 September 1989), better known by his stage name Freezyfofo (often stylized as Freezybeatz) or simply Freezy, is a Nigerian record producer, sound engineer, singer, rapper and songwriter. He is known for producing genre beats.
early life
Freezy was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the first child in the family. His father, Olukayode Esan, is a journalist and missionary. His mother, Yemisi Babalola (remarried), is an assistant nurse and an educationist.
Profession
Freezy has been a poet since childhood. He bought his first Pentium 2 PC and started composing beats while meeting trendy hipsters.
Later, he left the group and joined Jazz Gold Artistes (2009). He obtained a degree in Basic Technology in Computer Science from Gateway Poly Saapade, Ogun State and further studied in the United Kingdom (Audio Masterclass, Tewswater, England) to study Sound Engineering.
He has produced thousands of beats for artists around the world and mastered mixes for countless albums both here and abroad. He has released one mixtape and two EPs.
His music styles include Trap, Afro, Reggae, Dancehall, Rock, Countryside, Alternative, etc. He plays piano, guitar and drums. He has been active in the music industry since 2004.
