early life
Frescue is a millennial born in Lagos to Nigerian parents. He is a Yoruba boy from a state in the Southwest region.
He and his siblings were raised under the Christian faith of their parents, who would not hesitate to forgive them whenever they deserved punishment. As a child living in Lagos Mainland, he was exposed to a lot of contemporary music. He cites singers such as D’banj, P-Square, 2Baba, Faze, Naeto C, Wande Coal, Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars as influences on his music.
Born with a beautiful voice, he joined a choir as a teenager to serve the Lord and develop his skills. After a few years, he had become an excellent singer and began to write songs.

As an undergraduate at Unilag, Frescool was an active member of the music artist community and performed in many of the school’s shows. This experience helped him better develop his craft and create more entertaining music.

He collaborated with Barry Jhay to release the popular single “Anything”. In February 2021, Frescool made a big splash and participated in the remix of Zlatan’s song “Lagos Anthem”.
Frescool signed with Oarhi Records, a record label in Lagos State, Nigeria.
