In 2010, he marked his singing debut with a musical song Main Ni Peenda and then tried his hand at acting with the film Romeo Ranjha in 2014.

Early life and education
Garry Sandhu, a famous Punjabi singer, was born on 4 April 1984 in Rurka Kalan, a village near Goraya, in the Jalandhar district of Punjab, India.
He comes from a rather humble background, his father, Sohan Singh Sandhu, worked as a driver, and his mother, Gurmeet Kaur, whose job has not been disclosed to the media, Garry Sandhu grew up with an older brother.
Despite enrolling in a government school in Rurka Kalan, he struggled academically and often skipped classes. Garry Sandhu’s educational journey was hampered when he failed Grade 10 and had to repeat it.
Career
After deciding to venture into the music industry, Garry Sandhu made a significant step forward when he released his first single, Main Ni Peendain 2010. This first release became extremely popular and played a major role in boosting his career.
