early life
Gbasky was born in Lagos to Mr. and Mrs. Adepoju.
From a young age, Gbasky always had an artistic talent. In middle school, he became known for writing poetry. Soon after, he discovered his passion for music and began writing songs.

He attended the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science in 2016.

Gbasky has been making music since his college days.
Together with fellow undergraduates Lekadot, IM and VJ, they formed the band The Factory Pack. Together they released their debut album Breaking Boxes.
The group is managed by Iredumare Ojengbede.
Gbasky released his solo EP Phenomenal in 2016. One of the songs, “Money Calling”, was well received. The song was produced by members of The Sarz Academy.
In 2019, Gbasky released another EP, Black Frequency, which is an album containing 8 songs. The EP includes songs such as “Born to Win”, “Money Devotion”, and “Shakara”.
On the other hand, Gbasky is also a cinematographer.
He was nominated for the 14th Headies Music Awards in December 2020. His song Money Devotion was named Best Alternative Song.
