Early life and education

George Clooney is the son of actor Nick Clooney and beauty queen Nina Bruce Warren and was born in the United States.

He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on May 6, 1961. He and his sister Adelia Clooney are the only two children in the family.

In high school, he began to suffer from Bell’s palsy, which took a toll on him, earning him the nickname “Frankenstein” because of his facial paralysis. But despite the toll it took on him, he overcame the condition.

George Clooney never earned a college degree. After attending a regional show with his cousin, he moved to California and studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse for five years.
