Catherine’s father was William James Eberlein, also known as Bill Ebs. He was 60 when he passed away last year. He was born on August 22, 1962, to Kenneth and Frances in St. Paul, Minnesota. On June 7, 2023, Catherine took to social media to talk about her miserable life in the past 7 months without her father. “It’s been 7 long months without your visits to my house, your daily FaceTime calls, your little dates and your hugs. There’s nothing in this world I wouldn’t do to get him back. You mean more to me than you’ll ever know” – she immediately replied to her dad 💙”, she exclaimed.
Catherine had an inexplicably loving relationship with her father, so his passing must have left her feeling numb, as she has said many times. In one social media post, she talked about how she was the first person she opened her eyes to on the day she was born and the last person he closed his eyes on the day he passed away.

Catherine Ebs’ parents were together and married until one of them died. Her father’s obituary reads, “He will be greatly missed by the love of his life, Shannon.” Shannon, here, is of course Catherine’s mother. Her full name is Shannon McGurran Eberlein. She would have been 58 in April 2023. And as of this writing, she appears to be living in Oakdale, Minnesota.
On February 12, the year Shannon’s husband died, they celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary.
